Sarah Nordlund, DNP, APRN, FNP-C
Sarah has been working at the Garfield County Health Center since she was a kid. She began as a CNA and later became an RN. She was eventually hired as the Director of Nursing and returned to school once again to receive her Doctorate in Nursing. Now she is one of our spectacular local providers, showing dedication, care and compassion to all her patients. Sarah is accepting new patients of all ages and can can help manage all of your care with specialists.
Nancy Rosaaen, Interim Chief Executive Officer
Nancy has worked in healthcare administration for over 31 years. She started working at GCHC as their Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on March 1, 2023. Nancy was the Interim CEO at GCHC in 2008 and 2009. Nancy appreciates the working relationships with GCHC Board of Directors, Garfield County, and especially the dedicated employees that are currently working at GCHC. Nancy is looking forward to getting re-acquainted with “old friends” and meeting others in Garfield County.
Charlotte Herbold, Business Office Manager
Charlotte is a long-time resident of Jordan. In fact, she was the County Treasurer at the time of the Freemen. They didn’t like her much but we think she’s pretty awesome. She is our Business Office Manager at our Rural Health Clinic and Critical Access Hospital, and does an amazing job keeping track of the money and dealing with insurance companies. If you have a question about your bill, your insurance coverage or even cash options, she’s the one to talk to you.
Mary FitzGerald, Director of Nursing, RN
Mary started at Garfield County Health Center in 2011 as a CNA and furthered her education to become a nurse. She has since been promoted to Director of Nursing. Mary genuinely cares about our residents and the community and is passionate about continuously providing the best care to our residents and patients at GCHC. and appreciates working with the Nursing Department. She enjoys working together with all the departments at GCHC on quality improvement projects.
